All the links and resources are organised into locations, which is intended to make them easier to find and browse. All locations and resources are listed alphabetically.

UkGen is the new home of the Family History Directory, which I started in 2011. It all began as a place to list (keep) the links to records of my own family history research.

As the (old) site grew and started receiving more visitors, I started to expand it to include links and resources for the other English speaking countries. But I quickly realised that it was too ambitious a task. It meant having lots of pages with little content. So now my focus on the UK which will make it easier to add more content and keep the existing pages fresh.
